Battcol Batteries (Pty) Ltd is a registered Dealer and Distributor of Scrap Batteries which was registered in March 2015 by Mark Carter and Neels Dannhauser (Battcol Batteries (Pty) Ltd, hereinafter referred to as Battcol).
- The company was started to enable big and small traders to sell scrap batteries to an environmentally friendly company. Battcol is registered with the Dept of Home Affairs as a Hazardous Waste Storage facility and Transporter.
- Previous experience in the scrap metal business (20+ years) has ensured identification of loop holes in the market with regards to safe handling and disposal of scrap batteries.
- Battcol has a crew of 30 staff members in-house and several freelance reps on the road.
- On a monthly basis, Battcol delivers tons of scrap batteries to lead recyclers.

Our Reconditioned Batteries
Our reconditioned batteries are batteries that have undergone a rigorous and highly controlled reconditioning process which delivers a reliable and serviceable second hand battery. So reliable in fact, that batteries are sold with a 6 month warranty subject to our standard and free alternator test when fitting the battery.
